My copywriting heart lies in the charity sector. My strengths are stakeholder reports, annual reports, funding bids, articles and newsletters. I am a core team member of the inspired Aluna project, for which I write funding applications and publicity material. Since 2018, I have also been editing Indiran, the newsletter of the Ancient India and Iran Trust. Other charities and organisations I have written for include Barnardos, the British Lung Foundation, Alzheimers Research UK and King Edward VII’s Hospital.

Munizha worked with me and my team on an influential and complex report exploring capacity within dementia research. The 40-page report was called Defeating Dementia and entailed quantitative and qualitative components, both of which Munizha oversaw, to draw up a comprehensive view of the sector. This report helped cement the charity’s reputation as an authority on dementia research policy, a status we continue to build on today. The report was well written, well received and Munizha is an intelligent and positive person to work with.
Tim Parry, Director of Communications, Engagement and Brand, Alzheimer’s Research UK
Munizha has worked for The Aluna Foundation, an arts and education charity, for a number of years. We have commissioned her to write various materials for different audiences and stakeholders, including business plans, articles, education strategies, reports and, most recently, challenging funding bids.
I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Munizha to anyone who is looking for an extremely competent and talented writer. She is wonderful to work with, produces outstanding and easy to read work (often with a complex brief, extensive information sources and challenging guidelines) and delivers on time. She is very thorough and has always made every effort to ensure each commission is excellent.
Munizha has a fantastic ability to grasp the different and often complex requirements of each writing commission. Her ability to communicate necessary detail and set a persuasive argument within a clear, easy to read and engaging framework is excellent and inspirational. Through each working process, she has helped us to clarify key messages that we hadn’t been able to articulate, which we have gone on to use in other applications. Most recently, Munizha played an instrumental part in our successful funding application to Arts Council England for our Greenwich Moon Time project (2018-2019).
